Licking Memorial Hospital, which celebrated its centennial anniversary in 1998, remains responsive to the health care needs of the Licking County area it has served for more than 100 years. The 227-bed facility offers a full spectrum of quality patient care services, from emergency medicine to home health care. In addition, Licking Memorial offers a number of specialized medical services unique for a hospital of its size. Comprehensive services are available in areas such as cancer, heart, maternity and mental health.
The Licking Memorial Health Professionals is a group of 90-plus physicians in various practices. Physician offices are located throughout Licking County, including Granville, Hanover, Heath, Hebron, Johnstown, Newark and Pataskala.
The Licking Memorial Health Foundation (LMHF) is supported by the Development Council, which has various committees consisting of business leaders in Licking County. The Foundation is the fundraising and resource development organization for Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS). The LMHS staff consists of approximately 1,630 employees in many areas. Physicians, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, cooks, housekeepers, accountants, engineers, computer specialists, laboratory technicians, administrators and many others work hard together to provide the best care for patients and visitors.
